BAD NEWS!!!
After two seasons sponsoring the BCCC our sponsor has now had to decide to no longer continue the deal with us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul Phillips - travelcounsellors, for all that he has done during the past two seasons.

New Sponsors

Charity Appeals
FABLE (For a Better Life with Epilepsy) and Catch 22

A message from BT user Aeneas,
I'm part of a student based charitable organisation based in Sheffield called SheffieldRAG, a few years ago, some students decided to hitch hike from Sheffield to Bognor Regis, that was 7 years ago, now we have to travel slightly further afield. This years destination is Budapest, Hungary, 1,200 miles away, with a mystery half-way point which we are given on the day, to stop anyone taking a flight straight out there. We have just a week to try and get all the way.
The charities we are raising money for a FABLE (For a Better Life with Epilepsy), which helps those who suffer with Epilepsy which medication cannot control as well as their families, and Catch 22 which is a charity aimed at getting young offenders back onto the right course, so they don't re-offend, and offering them a chance at an improved life. Two very worthwhile charities.
I need to raise £200 so I can do it, we have just £15 to spend on transport, the rest we have to be given from the kindness of strangers, and nothing which is donated will go towards funding the hitch-hike. Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated. Just go to....

London Marathon - Sponsorship Appeal

Challenges

Just a reminder - it is the responsibilty of the 1st person online on a Tuesday to set the challenge, and the 2nd person to accept it (on a Tuesday).
This then gives everyone plenty of time to set their team and to ensure that it is within the wage caps.

Battricians Cost Cutter Championship Alliance

There is an alliance at Battrick. This will enable me to send messages to a lot of our league members all at once. The downside is that you have to be a paying member of Battrick to join 'alliances', therefore I will still continue to post news here and on the friendlies sledging board.
